Grandparents are a huge part of our children's lives, and they can be a fantastic support in reaching those reading goals. During our Read-A-Thon, they can help encourage your child by donating to your child's reading goal. Our Read-A-Thon continues for one more week! If you are logging time on paper, please send in your slips no later than 10-31-25. That is also the last date any digital reading and or sharing will be accepted. We are nearly halfway to our goal of 23,000 minutes read each day!

We are pleased to announce that our community is also sponsoring our Read-A-Thon! Thanks so much to BTI and Kifaru International for supporting our kids and donating swag for our winners! All prizes will be awarded at school the first week of November!

Please join us for Monsters University Family Literacy Night on Thursday, October 30 from 5:30 - 7:00pm! Kids can wear their school appropriate costumes, play games, have FREE snacks, win prizes, and enjoy celebrating literacy in our school! All Bison families are invited, and all students must be with an adult! Please use the playground or office doors to enter the building. Come for the whole time or just part of the time, we'll be glad to see you there!

Last Call For The Giving Tree. Please complete the following form if you would like your child/children put on The Giving Tree in order to have gifts for the holiday season. Haunted House

Rendezvous Bison Herd! Our Family Partners Kickoff and Annual Meeting are happening TONIGHT, Oct. 21st! We will be hosting BINGO with Family Partners information between games. Games start at 5:00 and our last game of Blackout will start at 6:00pm. We have exciting prizes and FREE snacks! If you want to buy extra cards and daubers please bring cash as that is all we can accept at this time. Please use the playground doors to enter the building!

Harvest Lucheon correction! Please note that the original notes that were sent home had an error. Our Harvest Luncheon Is Tuesday, Nov 4th ( not Monday.) We look forward to seeing you for this fun family event!

Picture retakes are tomorrow, Wednesday 22nd! If you purchased a packet and would like a retake, please send it with your child to return to the photographer. A new picture with the same packet size will be taken. If you missed pictures, please complete the envelope and send it with your child. Photo's will start right after 8:00 AM and will go fast. Please be on time.

Just in case you lost your class code for the Read-a-thon, we're sending a new one home today! This one has a reading log on the back in case it's easier for you to write minutes down rather than adding them to your child's dashboard. All hard copy reading logs must be turned in no later than 10-31-25 to be eligible for prizes. Watch for a BIG announcement next week about Grand Prizes, and keep reading this weekend! Help us meet our goal of 23,000 minutes read , just 60 min. for every Bison!

By both cards AND a dauber for only 5$ (all proceeds benefit our student activity fund!) See you there!

Rendezvous Elementary has decided to hold a Read-A-Thon this year!
Read-A-Thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more. Our school Read-A-Thon begins on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 and is sure to be a fun and exciting event!

Watch for notes coming home TODAY with instructions for registering and prizes students can win!
